پولاد کیمیایی: Iranian Actor and Director
Biography: Poulad Kimiaei, born on July 14, 1980, in Tehran, is an Iranian actor and director. He is the son of Masoud Kimiaei, a renowned Iranian filmmaker, and Giti Pashaei, an Iranian singer. Poulad began his cinematic career with a role in the film "Lead" (directed by Masoud Kimiaei) in 1988. He joined his father in Iran after his father's return from Germany, appearing in supporting roles in his father's films. Some consider his best work to be his role in the television series "Gradual Death of a Dream," where he displayed a distinctive appearance and performance.
Poulad Kimiaei, who had been acting in his father's films for many years, expressed his perspective on breaking away from this mold with the film "Gasht Ershad" (directed by Saeed Soheili): "I and my father lived in two different ways and had two different beliefs, and being the hero of Kimiaei cinema itself is the greatest opportunity because this is the aspiration of many cinema stars. However, for me, it has taken various opportunities. Becoming the hero of Kimiaei cinema was a long and difficult journey, from lead and commerce to Sultan, to Ra'is, to trial and judgment in the streets and crime. Reaching this point was very difficult. I considered myself deserving of the Crystal Simorgh in 'Crime,' but it didn't happen. Still, it was a significant lesson for me and increased my independence."
