Siamak Atlasi : سيامك اطلسی : Ezzat Atlasi-Far, known professionally as Siamak Atlasi, was an Iranian actor and voice actor, born on June 25, 1936, and passed away on September 26, 2021. Despite having only a high school diploma, Atlasi started his artistic career in 1964 through the Association of Voice Actors and made his cinematic debut in 1971 with a role in the film "Tough Men," directed by Saber Leader. On October 26, 2021, Atlasi died due to COVID-19 complications, despite being vaccinated against the virus.
Atlasi passed away on September 26, 2021, due to COVID-19 at the Faramaniyeh Hospital in Tehran. He was laid to rest on October 28, 2021, in the artists' section of Behesht-e Zahra cemetery. A number of artists attended his burial ceremony, marking the loss of a prominent figure in the Iranian art community. His death underscored the serious impact of the pandemic, even among those who had taken steps to protect themselves through vaccination.
